1. Eligibility for Returns (Pan-India)
We offer returns and replacements across India under the following conditions:
- You have received a damaged, defective, or incorrect product.
- The product is unused, in its original condition, and with all tags, accessories, and packaging intact.
- The return request is made within 7 days of delivery.
Note: Since we manufacture wooden furniture on order, returns are not accepted for custom-made or personalized products, unless damaged during delivery.
2. How to Request a Return
If you wish to return or replace a product:
- Email us at support@housliving.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
- Mention your order number, reason for return, and include clear photos or videos showing the issue (if damaged).
- Our team will review and arrange a pickup or inspection depending on your location.
3. Inspection & Approval
Once your return is received:
- Our quality inspection team will review the product condition.
- If approved, we will issue a refund or replacement as per your preference.
- If rejected (due to misuse, alteration, or damage post-delivery), we’ll notify you with details.
4. Refund Process
- Mode of Refund: Refunds are processed to your original payment method (credit/debit card, UPI, wallet, or bank transfer).
- Processing Time: Please allow 5–10 business days after product inspection and approval.
- You will receive a confirmation email once the refund has been initiated.
Note: Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
5. Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase if production hasn’t started.
- Once an item is in manufacturing or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.
- For made-to-order wooden furniture, cancellation after 24 hours may incur processing fees.
6. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a damaged or defective wooden product:
- Report it to support@housliving.com with unboxing photos or videos within 48 hours of delivery.
- We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no extra cost.
7. Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for:
- Custom-made furniture (made to your design or size)
- Used or installed items
- Products without original packaging
- Clearance or final-sale items
8. Pan-India Coverage
We offer return pickups in most major cities across India.
In remote or rural areas where pickup is unavailable, customers may be asked to ship the product back using an approved courier, and we will reimburse the reasonable return shipping cost after inspection.
